A pesar de una lluvia impresiónate se llevo a cabo el torneo programado el día 19 de septiembre en el club Córdoba de Corrientes Capital.
El publico Correntino enaltecido con las peleas preliminares y esperando el plato fuerte de la noche el combate pactado a 5 round Profesional de kick boxing entre el yaguareté correntino Rubén Barboza y el contrincante porteño Facundo Simal que venia a buscar la victoria para llevársela a Bs. As.
Aunque no hubo nada de eso. Así, el idilio Porteño duró apenas un minuto cincuenta segundos. Es decir, un solo round. Una buena combinación de patadas y puño mandaron a la lona al monarca porteño que traía un record de 35 peleas invicto y la multitud parecía en éxtasis, con ese frenético arranque. No importaba ver menos de 120 segundos de acción, en la pelea de fondo, porque era su campeón el que había ganado con una amplia superioridad.
Fue así como termino el combate con un terrible k.o. para cerrar esta noche inolvidable que solo los que estuvieron presentes lo llevaran a la historia.
